
Ian's background is in orthopaedics. From 1994 to 2007, Ian was the CEO of Corin Group PLC which, under his leadership grew to a highly regarded publicly quoted orthopaedic company with a world leading position in hip resurfacing.Prior to joining Corin, Ian, who has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in metallurgy, worked for ten years in senior management roles for several OEM suppliers of orthopaedic devices. He is currently Non Executive Chairman of Inion Limited, a UK-listed orthopaedics company, a Non Executive Director of Metalrax PLC, and a Non Executive Director of Sphere Medical Holding PLC

Jens is an expert in the scientific and product development aspects of knee cartilage repair with more than 13 years experience in the industry. He was the Co-Founder and CEO of CellCoTec BV and is currently Chief Scientific Officer. Prior to this, he was Group Leader, Cartilage Repair for IsoTis SA. Jens received his PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in 1996. He also carried out postdoctoral work on tissue-engineered cartilage at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Clemens is Professor of Regenerative Medicine at Twente University in the Netherlands. He has authored and co-authored over 200 scientific papers, is named inventor on numerous patents and frequently acts as an invited speaker or chairman at international conferences. During his career, he has co-founded four biomedical companies. He was the CEO of IsoTis NV from 1996 to 2002. He currently sits on several advisory bodies relating directly to life and material sciences and he is a non-executive board member of Progentix BV, River Diagnostics BV, and Polyganics BV.

Jaap began his career as a medical doctor and academic scientist in 1984 after obtaining a medical degree from the University of Groningen. Jaap has previously held senior positions with Quadrant Healthcare plc, JARI Pharmaceuticals BV and PhotoBioChem NV. In 2003, he became a managing director of Oakes, Lyman & Co. Limited, a firm specialising in structuring, building, and financing medical businesses.
